Here’s our smooth, step-by-step process to get your books in order because your beautiful work deserves financial systems that actually support it, not work against it.

  • Tell us where you’re struggling and we’ll tell you how we can help. We’ll chat about your goals, what’s going well, and where there’s room for improvement. Together, we'll identify the right next steps for your business.

  • If we're a good fit, you'll receive a custom proposal outlining our recommended services, along with your contract and deposit invoice. Once everything is signed, you'll complete our new client questionnaire and schedule your onboarding call.

  • We'll connect your bank accounts, integrate QuickBooks with your project management system (Honeybook, Houzz Pro, DesignFiles), build a custom Chart of Accounts tailored to your design business, and set up reports that give you a clear picture of where your money comes from, where it goes, and what you're actually keeping.

  • We’ll review your current financial situation, fix any bookkeeping issues we find, help you understand your new custom reports, and set you up with proper project profit tracking.

  • We put our expertise into gear and take everything off your plate. Each month you’ll get clear reports so you understand what’s happening in your business, plus ongoing support to answer any questions.

  • What accounting software do you use?

    We exclusively work with QuickBooks Online because it’s the standard accounting software for interior design businesses. Its project tracking and integrations with tools like Houzz Pro and DesignFiles help you see exactly how each project is performing.

  • I'm behind on my books. Can you still help me?

    Yes. We’ll meet you exactly where you are, clean up what needs to be fixed, and get your books organized and set up properly going forward so you have a clear financial foundation.

  • Bookkeeper vs CPA: who does what?

    Your bookkeeper keeps a pulse on your finances and project profitability month over month. Your CPA files your taxes. We work alongside your CPA to make sure everything is organized and tax-ready so there are no surprises.

    We don’t file your taxes, but we make sure your books are organized and ready for your CPA. Each year, we hold a review call to prepare everything so tax season is smooth, organized, and stress-free.
